Jeff Lifson
Founder
For more than two decades, Jeff Lifson’s primary goal has been simple: helping to connect those with a passion for horse racing to the best runners possible.
For Jeff, it has been all about making his client’s dreams come true, namely horse ownership at the highest levels of the game.
The list of horses he has been a part of and brought to his clients, starts with arguably the greatest horse since Secretariat, the undefeated and monstrously talented Horse of the Year, Flightline.
“As a member of the team that bought Flightline as a yearling, my joy going forward centered around the clients I helped become a part of his unparalleled racing career and now his promising life as a stallion. “
Lifson helped identify and buy numerous other standouts including more than half a dozen Kentucky Derby starters, such as Derby Winner Always Dreaming and Derby runner up, Commanding Curve.
“The Derby is the ultimate dream for anyone who owns a racehorse. It has meant so much to me to have the clients who have trusted my judgement over the years experience that unbelievable dream.”
Dating back to his first trip to Churchill Downs as a young Louisville sports reporter, the pursuit of excellence in racing drove Jeff forward. That drive earned him the coveted Eclipse award for equine journalism, and led him to TVG, a pioneering new television voice now the standard within in the industry. Jeff’s business strengths developed early as an associate consultant for the prestigious strategy consulting powerhouse Bain and Company. He joined Bain after graduating with honors from Williams College. Jeff’s educational resume also includes a Masters in Journalism with honors from Northwestern University.
